Offsite Manufacture

The integration of our Offsite supply chain is a key component of the successful delivery of our projects. Our flexible business model means we have an extensive supply chain network with multiple partners working on any one project at any one time. To add this, our supply chain network reaches across the UK, Southern Ireland and into mainland Europe, resulting in a significant logistical challenge. Our continual focus is the seamless integration of the offsite activities with on-site delivery which is why our supply chain coordinators are constantly working within our supply chain partners factories, ensuring we are delivering to programme and complying with the project specification.

Every stage of the Offsite and on-site delivery process is mapped and then tracked in real time. The Offsite manufacturing and preassembly processes are tracked using Bluetooth tagging and Digital Twins with each component carrying a unique identification code and digital tag, allocated at the point of manufacture. A series of gateways monitor the components process through each key manufacturing and QC stage, loading and transportation to site stages and the final site assembly and 'sign-off' stage. The Digital Twin is updated in real time providing a full auditable time line and allowing real time decision making for the good of the project.
