PCE Limited’s HybriDfMA Frame System, including columns, beams and parapets was used for the second phase of the new £34.5m 3-storey elective care facility at the NHS Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank.
This continues the close working partnership with Main Contractor Kier Construction Scotland who are delivering the project for NHS Golden Jubilee, with PCE delivering the structural engineering design for the HybriDfMA Frame System and façade in collaboration with the project architect IBI Group and client engineers Curtins Consulting. PCE’s HybriDfMA Healthcare Frame system, with an integrated modular brick faced façade and glazing, has been adopted due to the speed of delivery and the quality of the as-built structural solution. The modular façade will provide an enclosed weathertight environment for the follow-on trades to progress quickly and efficiently once the frame is completed and integrated fixtures for modular M&E plant will aid the services installation.
