Nickie Brown, PCE's Managing Director said:
"All at PCE are very proud and delighted that the Kingston University Town House Project has won the 2020 Offsite Hybrid Technology Award. It recognises a great team effort - both within PCE and with all the other companies involved.
"This project raised the bar for Offsite Hybrid Technology delivery, and PCE Ltd is already improving the value, speed, quality and safety of current and future Offsite Hybrid projects which we are and will be involved with."
Craig Billyeald, Project Manager, Kingston University Town House:
"It’s really gratifying that the hard work, dedication and innovative thinking that the PCE design team, our production partners and construction team spent on the project has been recognised and rewarded. Having visited the Town House after completion and seeing the building in use, PCE has created a really special environment and it is the source of great pride for me personally and this should be the case for every single person that had an involvement in the delivery."
Construction of the stunning six storey building was completed using PCE's HybriDfMA bespoke system, which enabled the project to become an environmentally friendly mixed-use teaching building, taking the form of a series of interlocking open-plan volumes enveloped by a facade of colonnades with extensive exposed internal and external concrete finishes.
