760 reconstructed stone and brick-faced offsite engineered cladding elements

Components received on a planned just-in-time basis

PCE’s HybriDfMA Bespoke System Architectural Precast Concrete Facade assembly is progressing at speed on the Central & Cecil Housing Trust development in St Johns Wood, London for Regal London.

The 13 storey insitu concrete frame structure forms 170 apartments and is clad in its entirety with the precast concrete modular façade of 760 reconstructed stone and brick-faced precast concrete cladding elements that have been formed where appropriate using Reckli formliners. The anticipated construction programme was 25 weeks, and the images show the progress after 11 weeks when 526 of the individual off-site engineered components had been received on a planned just-in-time basis to the logistically challenging central London location and assembled by PCE’s 8 multi-skilled site operatives.
