Chapel Wharf update 4 – level 7 construction underway

New levels on blocks A and B

PCE Ltd are now underway with the construction of level 7 of Block A and level 6 of Block B at Dandara's build to rent apartment scheme at Chapel Wharf in Salford, Manchester.

Each block is being built in crosswall construction with precast concrete being used for the crosswalls, cores, balconies, solid floor slabs, stairs and landings, with architectural precast concrete sandwich panels used to clad the structures. The scheme has been designed by Architect Axis Mason and WSP are the client’s consulting engineers.

Collaborative approach

PCE has developed a collaborative approach with Main Contractor Sir Robert McAlpine enabling the four precast concrete high rise apartment blocks to be erected onsite over 22 months.
