Prestigious 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize nomination

Kingstown University Town House shortlisted for 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize

PCE Ltd is delighted that Grafton Architects' Kingston Town House Project for Kingston University in Surrey is one of the shortlisted projects for the prestigious 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize.

PCE was responsible for the offsite engineered structural design and build of the superstructure frame and façade package. Craig Billyeald, PCE’s Senior Project Manager responsible has said:

"Being associated with a project shortlisted for the Stirling Prize feels great, it is a fantastic reward for all of the PCE Team members that worked so diligently to help turn Grafton’s architectural aspirations into reality using an Offsite Engineered Design for Manufacture and Assembly approach. All of the companies involved with this project worked so well together to achieve the common aim of building excellence."

The Stirling Prize ceremony is to take place on Thursday 14th October 2021 and will be held at Coventry Cathedral as part of Coventry’s 2021 City of Culture activities. The Ceremony will be covered live on the BBC News Channel at 7:30pm as well as on BBC Radio 4’s Front Row programme.
