PCEs DMC approach recognised at Concrete Society Awards

Overall quality aspects of BHR structures impressed

PCE Ltd's groundbreaking and high quality approach towards the Berkshire based BHR development was recognised at the Concrete Society Awards recently, as they became the first of the 15 shortlisted entries to attain a "Highly commended" recognition.

Significant factors leading to the endorsement of PCE and their team, included their DMC (Design, Manufacture and Construction) approach, allied to the impressive quality of all aspects of the structures that PCE provided for client the West London Mental Health NHS Trust. The final design solution meant that PCE were responsible for the design, detail, manufacture and erection of over 6,150 precast concrete units which can be allocated into ten distinct product categories, being: twin wall, solid walls, architectural sandwich panels, prestressed hollowcore flooring, reinforced solid floor units, square and circular columns, beams, stairs and landings. Bill Tunbull, well known for his work on BBC Television, was master of ceremonies at the event which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
