Emirates Old Trafford update 3 – PreFastCore in action

First PreFastCore elements completed offsite

The first PreFastCore units have now been manufactured for the seven storey hotel for Hilton Garden Inns at the Emirates Old Trafford ground in Manchester.

They will form part of the structural core of this exciting development at the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club. PCE Ltd and concrete precaster Shay Murtagh now offer a full design and build solution for forming lift, lift & stair or stair only structural cores for multi storey buildings.

Reduced erection times

Rapid on site erection to full height prior to the rest of the structural frame being erected, ensures reduced overall frame erection times, safe and easy site personel access to the different floor levels as the building is constructed as well as providing a cost effective means of transferring lateral loads to the foundations.
