3D modelling and BIM system approach

The Project has been fully 3D modelled during the design process using Revit software as part of PCE's BIM system approach to ensure accuracy of fit on site and with no clash with other specialists contractors work packages. The PCE Design team is multi talented and includes design engineers, detailers, design co-ordinators, 3D developers, administrators, to ensure that all aspects of design that all PCE's projects require are expertly and competently accomplished in accordance with the PCE Quality System. The hotel will have two structural precast cores which are the first to be designed and detailed by PCE and manufactured from a new adjustable core mould that PCE have invested in as part of the expansion of the companies offering in providing precast structural cores to the wider construction market.  PCE's PreFastCore units being used on the Emirates Old Trafford Hotel Project are designed and modelled in 3D prior to manufacture drawings being produced.
