Bracknell update 4 - PCE's cranes help maintain rapid progress

Cranes permanently on site during build

Rapid progress at the Lexicon Bracknell is being made during the construction of the 1,300 space multi-storey carpark designed and built by PCE Ltd.

In order to maintain the current momentum, two of PCE's own cranes are remaining on site. Offsite production of the precast units will enable PCE to meet the 40 week onsite programme which commenced at the end of last year.

Car park and retail space

Over 24,00m² of the PCE developed GT long span flooring units are being used to minimise on site construction times, reducing the depth of structure, number of erection lifts, and the amount of follow on trades as there is no insitu structural topping required and the units arrive to site on a just in time basis with a factory applied anti slip finish.
