PCE Ltd's 2021 Site Operative Of The Year award won by Mark Connolly

PCE site operatives continue to maintain high standards

As part of the ethos of PCE Ltd to encourage and develop members of its multi-skilled workforce to continuously strive to deliver high quality projects for several years, they have implemented a Site Operative of the Month Award scheme, leading up to at the end of the year a Site Operative of the Year Award being made.

These Awards recognise the individuals contribution to the projects progress on site as recognised by feedback from the PCE site management teams, other contractors, clients, colleagues, etc, with a rigorous assessment being made prior to a decision being reached. 2021 has seen greater challenges than normal due to the Covid pandemic for all site operatives, but this has not detracted the PCE site teams from producing the continuous high standards expected, and the Awards reflect individual employees contributions. The 2021 PCE Ltd Site Operative of the Year has been won by Mark Connolly who during the year worked on a number of diverse projects including the NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital Surgical Centre in Glasgow, a new HMP prison at Glen Parva near Leicester and a 14-storey new office building for the impressive Assembly development in central Bristol.

Repeated positive feedback

Karl Hubbard, PCE’s Construction Director said:

"Mark Connolly’s performance, attitude and contribution throughout 2021 has been outstanding and he well deserves the Award, so a huge congratulations to him. Mark is always fully committed on all the projects he works on and supports the team in every way he can, this being evident by him having been nominated for the Operative of the Month Award many times during the year which is an exceptional feat. "Comments such as 'excellence has been Mark's standard throughout his time spent on the Golden Jubilee project' and 'nothing but a positive attitude towards the project and tasks' are just two of the many feedback comments that Mark has received throughout the year, and he fully deserves the 2021 Site Operative of the Year Award."
