Happy Birthday PCE!

November 19th 2021 is the 48th anniversary of the company registration of PCE Ltd.

The company was started by Vince Wetton primarily to erect precast concrete structures - and with Vince’s intuitive engineering expertise, rapidly became the erector of choice for the major precast concrete companies during the latter part of the 20th century.

Innovation and Safety were always key requisites as the company developed with a great teamwork ethos to provide its clients with excellence in construction regardless of the size of project and type.  The above attributes have continued into the 21st Century, and PCE is now at the forefront of the drive to increase environmentally friendly Offsite engineered construction solutions, providing a full Design and Build service with its HybriDfMA systems. The company is now fully owned by its employees, increasing even further its workforce engagement and passion for providing excellence to its clients.

Kingston University Town House, designed by Grafton Architects and the 2021 winner of the coveted RIBA Stirling Award for which PCE Ltd undertook the design and build of the visually stunning Offsite structural solution is typical of PCE’s abilities. Nickie Brown, PCE Managing Director said:

"It is fantastic to be able to celebrate 48 years of successful trading, the company has developed tremendously during that time and is a great credit to those that have worked for us and still do. However we are not resting on our laurels and will continue to create new approaches in our business, both technically, environmentally and digitally that will ensure we remain the first choice provider for our clients for many years to come."
