Rigorous planning brings construction benefits at Commercial Road

PCE’s multi-skilled construction team at Commercial Road has recently completed the assembly of the hyTower®  Superstructure system to Level 6 of the 14 storey Aparthotel in Whitechapel.

In just 39 days, 565 offsite manufactured elements have been assembled out of a total of 1,364 units which has been enabled through rigorous planning of day to day activities and the honing of the processes from level to level. The speed and quality of the construction has enabled Regal London to commence fit-out works at Levels 1, 2 & 3 ahead of programme and the carefully planned lifting and loading out of bathroom pods and plasterboard onto the levels by PCE prior to installation of the floor plate above has greatly assisted in the efficiency of the partitions and M&E following trades.
