Dakota Hotel update 7 - first sandwich panels craned into place

Remaining level 2 units installed

PCE Ltd has now added the last remaining level 2 units and is in the process of installing triple and single cores the at new Dakota Boutique Hotel project in Manchester. The first of the offsite produced sandwich panels are now being craned into place and installed.

Precast concrete sandwich panels

Architectural brick faced precast concrete sandwich panels (shown in the images above) are being supplied for the hotel façade. They are currently being are supplied to site with windows fitted at the precast factory. This provides the considerable benefit of speeding up the final fit-out of the hotel, reducing the need for follow on trades, inner city deliveries and thus the carbon footprint.
