Paradise Circus update 4 - first aerial views of PCE's PreFastCore based development

The safe, fast and dimensionally accurate precast solution

PCE Ltd are currently working on Birmingham’s 17 acre Paradise Circus redevelopment project with a contract value approaching £5million to design and build a two storey hybrid structural frame at the city centre location. 

The lift and stair cores are being constructed with PCE’s Prefastcore® system which provides a safe, fast and dimensionally accurate solution for the construction, with precast concrete columns, beams, walls, prestressed hollowcore flooring and steel Delta Beam units provide the structural hybrid frame solution with insitu concrete being used where necessary to facilitate structural connections.

 

Main contractor for Birmingham regeneration project

PCE were awarded the contract by main contractor Carillion who were selected for this stage of the project by Paradise Circus General Partner Ltd which is a Joint Venture Company between Birmingham City Council and Hermes Real Estate. The Joint Venture appointed Argent to manage the overall design and delivery of the project.
