Three blocks of precast student accommodation

PCE Ltd is currently onsite at the University of Lincoln, working with F P McCann Ltd on a construction only contract.

F P McCann were awarded the design and build project for three blocks of student accommodation of up to 11 storeys high, using their precast concrete crosswall construction solution by Bowmer and Kirkland who are main contractor for the University’s continued expansion of their accommodation facilities at Brayford Wharf. Lincoln was, according to their website "ranked among the best for student satisfaction in the latest NSS survey."

PCE has recently worked successfully for F P McCann on an erection only basis on a number of previous student accommodation projects including at Swansea and Southampton. Site safety is, as ever, a main focus on this project.
